If I’m not wrong, the previous fastest lap was a 1.31.7 by Hamilton on fresh soft tyres. Beating that on 43 lap old hards takes a brilliant lap. Verstappen also attempted the fastest lap on the last lap so it was a straight fight between him and Charles – this shows that Ferrari are competitive in low fuel. Jeddah is not one of the circuits that suit this year’s Ferrari car either. The next few races are in tracks full of medium speed corners so they should be good for them. The championship is already over but P2 in both drivers and constructors is in the cards. Forza Ferrari
