2025 Formula 1 Calendar | Schedule and Start Times
Formula 1’s 2025 season will consist of the same 24 Grands Prix as last year, with no additional races introduced. However, the race order has undergone significant adjustments. The Australian Grand Prix will now serve as the curtain-raiser for the championship, with the Bahrain Grand Prix shifted to the fourth spot on the calendar. Another major reshuffle sees the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix moved to fifth, whereas it had previously followed immediately after Bahrain.
Several circuits are secured to host races until 2026 under existing contracts. Beyond that, fans can look forward to the inclusion of a new venue: the Spanish Grand Prix will transition to Madrid starting in 2026, marking an exciting development for the sport.
The 2025 season officially begins in March with two early races in Australia and China. Before the lights go out on the grid, three days of pre-season testing will take place in February. The ever-popular Las Vegas Grand Prix retains its unique Saturday scheduling, a feature that delighted fans last year. Meanwhile, the championship’s conclusion will occur late in the year, wrapping up on December 7th. Notably, there will be no “autumn break” in October this season, unlike the previous year’s brief pause.
Pre-season testing for the 2025 campaign is slated for February 26th through 28th and will be held in Bahrain, setting the stage for what promises to be an intense and thrilling season of racing.
