Everyday misfortunes can affect even established champions. Thus, on Twitter, the story of an incident that happened to a Formula 1 legend of the past is becoming viral: that of South African Jody Scheckter. The Formula 1 World champion, who in 1979 had a magical season for the colors of Scuderia Ferrari, shared an unfortunate episode on Twitter, also asking for help from fans and users of the popular social network. Jody Scheckter, who until the memorable title won by Michael Schumacher in 2000 was for a long time the last driver to win an F1 world title at the wheel of a Ferrari, wrote in a message on Twitter that he had lost his wallet in London.
“Afternoon, I lost my wallet last night in Central West London, a simple black leather wallet with my IDs & cards in it. Had it for a long time so offering a £1,000 reward for anyone who finds it and can return it. Any help appreciated. Please RT for visibility. DMs open. Likely around the C London restaurant, though they don’t have it unfortunately.” – Jody Scheckter posted on Twitter, as the former Scuderia Ferrari driver also asked users to retweet his message to help him and, should they have information, write him a private message.
