Robin Raikkonen impresses dad Kimi at Maranello simulator – VIDEO. Robin Raikkonen is already showing promise behind the wheel.

Baby Raikkonen is already showing promise behind the wheel, and his proud father, Kimi, can attest to that. The duo spent a fantastic day together at the SIM center in Maranello, a company specializing in the creation and customization of driving simulators. Young Robin, who has already embarked on his karting career, enjoyed driving various virtual cars under the careful guidance of his ex-Ferrari driver father. Kimi shared the video of this experience on Instagram.

Last year, Kimi’s son took his first steps into the world of motorsport by joining the historic Italian team CRG Kart, which over the years has launched the karting careers of top names like Nico Rosberg, Lewis Hamilton, and Max Verstappen.

Robin quickly made his mark, securing a podium in the Rotax Micro category right away, competing against much older and more experienced drivers. He achieved his first victory last May. His accomplishments have been documented over the months on the Instagram profile “robincematias,” an account co-managed by Kimi and Minttu.

On the same page, a few hours ago, the former Ferrari world champion shared a video with the caption: “Great day with Robin at the SIM Maranello.”

“Robin really appreciated the sensation of real speed provided by the simulator, and it’s undoubtedly good training for the upcoming season. I also had the opportunity to try the simulator, and I was truly impressed by its precision and sensations.”

Finally, Kimi admitted to being impressed by his son’s speed despite his very young age: “I was still a bit faster than him, but not by much. The boy is quick.”
