Who are the favorites for 2025 F1 after pre-season tests? Bookmakers have no doubts. Let’s take a look at the favorites based on the bookmakers’ odds for the 2025 F1 season.

Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, 2025 F1

On the eve of the Bahrain tests, we reported that, according to the bookmakers, the favorites for the 2025 F1 season were Ferrari and McLaren, the two teams that dominated the end of last season. The three days in Sakhir have essentially confirmed these predictions, albeit possibly shaking up the hierarchy.

Indeed, the track has revealed a McLaren that seems to have an edge over its direct competitors. Both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri put in race simulations that left everyone in awe, thanks to their pace and consistency.

Nevertheless, Ferrari appears to be very close, especially considering the many modifications made to the SF-25. Maranello will certainly need to put in some work ahead of the season opener in Australia, but the starting point looks promising.

The favorites according to the bookmakers
Looking at the odds offered by various betting sites, some changes can be observed after the three days of testing in Bahrain. According to SNAI, Ferrari’s odds of winning the constructors’ title are 2.00, the same as McLaren. Red Bull follows at 7.50, with Mercedes at 15.

A slightly different scenario emerges with bet365, which places McLaren (2.00) slightly ahead of Ferrari (2.25), with Red Bull at 6 and Mercedes at 15.

As for the drivers’ championship, the bookmakers have no doubts. The favorite is Lando Norris, with odds ranging from 2.50 on SNAI to 2.88 on William Hill. Max Verstappen follows, with odds between 3.85 on LeoVegas and 4.50 on SNAI.

Rounding out the podium are the two Ferrari drivers, with Charles Leclerc slightly ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Their odds range between 4.50 and 6.50.

Of course, the odds will start to shift from Australia onward, as the teams will no longer be able to hide and will be forced to chase results.
