During the Ferrari SF-25 shakedown, FormulaItalian caught up with the fan who made headlines with his actions, now widely known as the “Fiorano lumberjack.”
“I cut everything for the Ferrari fans”
Asked about his thoughts on the day, Giorgio responded enthusiastically:
“A wonderful day! To make the Ferrari fans happy, I cleared the area, cutting down all the trees. All Ferrari fans must be happy about the new car and the new driver.”
How many races will Ferrari win in 2025?
Without hesitation, Giorgio replied: “At least six!”
“Ferrari will win the championship with Hamilton”
When asked when the world title would return to Maranello, Giorgio was confident:
“This year, with Hamilton, because he has to break Michael Schumacher’s record. He came to Ferrari for this. Lewis will bring Mercedes’ know-how to Maranello.”
However, he also expressed some regret regarding his favorite driver:
“I support Leclerc, but… I’m sorry for him… Hamilton… is more!”
