When the Silver Arrows signed the German, they hoped to get the champion who had won everything, but in the end, he turned out to be an ordinary driver, a good driver, yes, but nothing exceptional. “At some point, drivers lose speed. They remain brilliant but are no longer what they were in their prime. They lose performance. For Lewis, especially, he’ll need to push hard in qualifying, and it could be extremely challenging for him given that he’ll have to beat Charles Leclerc, who we know can push incredibly hard.”
