On the 2025 F1 grid, only one driver has a child—Nico Hülkenberg, though he won’t be the only one for long. In December, Max Verstappen and his partner Kelly Piquet announced they were expecting a baby, who will be born during this season.

Lewis Hamilton tends to keep his personal life private. Since his breakup with Nicole Scherzinger, there have been many rumors about the British driver’s alleged relationships. In line with his past statements, Lewis Hamilton confirmed his intention to dedicate himself to different phases of his life one step at a time. “I admire those who manage to do their job at their best while also having a family. But if I had a child, my eyes would always be on them because I love children.”

“I’m an uncle and I love spending time with my nieces and nephews, but taking care of them when they’re with me is stressful and requires commitment. But I have no regrets about this—I know where I am in my life, I’m fortunate and happy. In the time I have left in F1, I want to give my best, and I will.” – the Ferrari driver pointed out.

Lewis Hamilton concluded by reaffirming his desire to have children but emphasizing that it is not something he wants to achieve immediately. “I would love to become a father. I adore children, and it is definitely something I want in my future.”
