Relaxation in Monte Carlo for the Monegasque champion: a few drinks, a hat to shield from the sun, and lots of fun on the yacht.
Summer means heat, relaxation, the sea, and for the wealthy, some time on an ultra-luxurious private yacht. Charles Leclerc also deserves a break, unwinding from a fiercely competitive and balanced Formula 1 season. The Monegasque driver posted some photos on Instagram showing him happily on vacation at Monte-Carlo Beach.
On a €4 million yacht
He stays true to his homeland because there’s no better place to enjoy a few days of well-deserved rest, and also because it’s in his home where he triumphed in the Grand Prix. Monaco brings him good luck, and he thanks it like this: a straw hat, a drink, a dip at the beach, and then back to the yacht for more vacation.
The yacht shown in the photos is his third: after Dolceriva and Monaco, this charming model is named Sedici. It’s a Riva 66 Ribelle, worth over €4 million. Over 20 meters long, it is equipped with two Man engines of 1550 HP for a cruising speed of 33 knots (61 km/h) with maximum speeds of 37 knots (68.5 km/h). It can accommodate up to 12 people on board, a true resort on the water.
