Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost squabbled over fourth place in the 1991 German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring and the major talking point came on lap 37 when Alain Prost attempted to pass Ayrton Senna going into the first chicane. The French driver was faster and tried to go around the outside, Senna would not give way and Prost went off and proceeded to stall the engine.

Here is Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna’s reaction to the incident at the first chicane on lap 37 of the 1991 German Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver’s comments earned him a one-race suspended ban, while the FIA ordered a meeting between the two drivers in Hungary to sort out their differences:
