McLaren, Williams, Ferrari, and Mercedes are the only teams to have taken successive poles, with Williams holding the record for the most consecutive team poles at six. There have been 13 instances of a team locking out the front row, with Mercedes last achieving this feat in 2022. The smallest pole margin was 0.011 seconds, set by Rubens Barrichello in 2003.

Michael Schumacher has set the most fastest laps at Interlagos, with five to his name. McLaren has the most fastest laps by a team, with nine. Schumacher also holds the record for the most laps led at the circuit, having led for 236 laps. Rubens Barrichello has led the most laps without winning, having spent 60 laps in front.
