Oliver Bearman: “I hope to wear the Ferrari red suit again very soon”. Ollie Bearman wants to return to wearing the Maranello suit .

Oliver Bearman is one of the talents from the Ferrari Driver Academy who has stood out in recent years in the junior categories. This year, after also becoming the third driver for the Maranello-based team, he had the opportunity and honor to wear the red suit in Jeddah and race alongside Charles Leclerc when Carlos Sainz had to go to the hospital for appendicitis.

Despite the very short notice, the Englishman was ready and managed to finish the GP, albeit exhausted, in the points. The Arab circuit is not an easy track to debut with a Formula 1 car, but despite this, Ollie showcased his talent by pushing the car to its limits without hitting the walls.

That appearance then earned him two more call-ups, this time with the Haas team, with whom he will compete in the entire 2025 season next year. Ollie Bearman was given the opportunity to drive in both Baku and Brazil, where he faced additional challenges due to the unfamiliar track and the wet conditions that F1 had to deal with at Interlagos.

Recently, the Briton gave an extensive interview to *La Gazzetta dello Sport*, where he talked about his time in the Ferrari academy, his journey through the junior formulas, and also about Andrea Kimi Antonelli, his teammate at Prema and a rival in F1 starting next year.

Ollie concluded the interview by making a promise to Ferrari. His goal is to return to wearing the Maranello suit and winning for the Prancing Horse.

Speaking about Kimi Antonelli, Oliver Bearman said: “I’m happy to have had a teammate like Kimi to measure myself against. He’s very fast, and this year we pushed each other to the limit. He’s a dear friend, and I’m glad we’ll be together in Formula 1.” – the Ferrari junior explained.

When asked about his future and how Ferrari has helped him over the years, the Englishman, without hesitation, replied: “For me, growing up and racing with Ferrari has been the greatest pride of my career. I hope to wear the red again very soon.”
