In 2017, Kimi Raikkonen qualified in pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix with a new record lap for the circuit at that time. The Finn set a time of 1:12.178 on the notoriously treacherous circuit to secure his first pole position in nine years ahead of his Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel in second.
Footage has emerged from Kimi’s on board camera and it makes for a fascinating watch as you get an understanding as to just how close he is to crashing in almost every second of the lap through the winding city streets.
