Ferrari ‘on track’ in Milan: the details
Milan is preparing to host an unmissable event for all Scuderia Ferrari HP fans: tomorrow, Thursday, March 6, Piazza Castello will become the stage for the “Drivers’ Presentation by UniCredit,” a unique opportunity to see Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton up close and support the team on the eve of their departure for Melbourne, the venue of the Australian Grand Prix, the first race of the 2025 Formula 1 season. The event, made possible thanks to the collaboration between Scuderia Ferrari HP and Premium Partner UniCredit, with the support of the Municipality of Milan, marks the team’s return to the city’s fans six years after the last major celebration, held in Piazza Duomo for the team’s 90th anniversary. The atmosphere is expected to be electric, with thousands of fans gathering to greet the season’s protagonists.

On-track and on-stage spectacle
To make the day even more special, there will be a spectacular street demo featuring Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton at the wheel of two Formula 1 cars. The demonstration will take place not only in Piazza Castello but also along Viale Girolamo Gadio, Via Pietro Paleocapa, and Via Marco Minghetti. Charles will drive an SF90 identical to the one in which he claimed his first two career victories in 2019, at Spa-Francorchamps and Monza, while Lewis will take the cockpit of an SF21, the car used by the team a couple of seasons later. The two will put on a show alongside Ferrari F1 Clienti mechanics, with rapid accelerations, lightning-fast pit stops, and spectacular burnouts.

The event will begin on the grand stage at Piazza Castello, where entertainment, including a DJ set, will start at 4:00 PM. From 5:00 PM, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna and UniCredit CEO Andrea Orcel will take the stage, welcomed by Sky Sport – the event’s Media Partner – represented by Carlo Vanzini and Vicky Piria. The focus will then shift to the street demo, with Carlo Vanzini and Ivan Capelli providing commentary, just like during a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

At the end of this thrilling segment, almost like a post-race show, Team Principal Fred Vasseur will engage with the hosts and the audience, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated moments of the day: the on-stage arrival of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. The Scuderia’s drivers will answer fan questions and share their emotions ahead of the new season. Also present near the stage will be the loyal members of Scuderia Ferrari Club, as well as guests and employees of UniCredit from all the countries where the pan-European bank operates.

Adding to the event, several Formula 1 cars will be displayed on stage, including the car featured in the London launch event on February 18 and two historic Scuderia Ferrari cars: the F2004, with which Michael Schumacher won his fifth title with Ferrari, and the 248 F1 from 2006, the last car he drove for the Italian team, marking the 25th anniversary of his first world title with Ferrari.

Limited Access and Live Broadcast
Access to the square will be free until maximum capacity is reached, with giant screens positioned in adjacent streets to allow everyone to follow the event. Those unable to attend in Milan will still have the opportunity to experience every moment of the show live on Sky Sport from just before 5:00 PM, as well as via streaming on NOW. Milan is ready to turn Ferrari red for a day that promises spectacle, emotions, and passion for Formula 1 and its most historic team.
