
Ferrari has announced a new corporate organization, in which Mattia Binotto has been confirmed as head of the Racing Department. More people in key roles will report directly to the managing director Benedetto Vigna, who will follow the diversification of the brand ad interim
As part of the new corporate organization announced by Ferrari, Mattia Binotto has been confirmed at the helm of the Gestione Sportiva, a role he has held since 2019. Binotto has been with the Maranello team since 1995, where he joined as Test Engine Engineer for the Maranello team and has also held this role from 1997 to 2003. In 2004 he became Race Engineer and from 2007 Chief Engineer, Racing and Assembly, then assuming the role of Operations Manager of the Engine and KERS Department in 2009. After being appointed Deputy Director of the Motors and Electronics department in October 2013, Mattia Binotto subsequently became Chief Operating Officer for the Power Unit. On 27 July 2016 he was appointed Chief Technical Officer of Scuderia Ferrari.

Vigna: “Going further in all areas”
