Dodds also explained the benefits of arrivals from the Circus, stating: “These drivers bring in new viewers, increasing the audience. This aligns with the ultimate goal of any motorsport series. For us, Formula 1 drivers are attractive. It’s a championship with greater visibility than ours.”

He continued: “So, if they join us, they spark the interest of those who’ve never considered or known Formula E. They might start watching to learn more. I’ll never apologize for bringing more spectators to this sport.”

However, in conclusion, the CEO reaffirmed his confidence in his current grid, saying: “That said, it’s not like we’re hunting down Formula 1 drivers to convince them to come here.
