Ferrari is undoubtedly one of the most well-known Italian brands globally and a leader in the luxury car market. Just the act of purchasing one of its vehicles involves more than simply showing up at the dealership with a full wallet; individuals are entered into a database and continually monitored to ensure that no one tarnishes the cars and the brand name.
And so, the Prancing Horse has found a way to prevent unauthorized products with its logo from circulating, seeking assistance from its fans. On the Ferrari website, a page titled “Counterfeit Reward” has appeared, outlining a set of rules to follow when reporting instances of improper logo use. After filling out the form and providing accompanying photos, the company will conduct an investigation to determine the nature of the object and verify if it is genuinely illegal. If deception is confirmed, Ferrari will offer a gadget to the person who made the report. However, there are no details about the type of gift, and it is explicitly stated that the gift will be at the company’s discretion and subject to stock availability.
