Throughout the 2023 F1 season you’ve been voting for your Overtake of the Month. Now it’s time for the big one, the Overtake of the Year!
Charles Leclerc initially led the first race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit but lost ground to both Red Bull drivers after they made a pit stop for fresh tires during the Safety Car period. Although he had dropped to second a few laps earlier, the Ferrari driver stayed within striking distance of Sergio Perez. He strategically used the DRS down the 1.9km Strip, executing a bold move on the inside into Turn 14 on the final lap to reclaim the position, an amazing overtaking move that received the Overtake of the Month Award for November.
