Charles Leclerc’s curse with Monaco continues: the Ferrari driver was filmed rear-ending another car with his Purosangue on the streets of the Principality.
During these Formula 1 break days, with the 2024 season set to resume in Baku with the 17th round, the Monegasque has been frequently spotted around his hometown. Yesterday, news of a supposedly “poor” tip that driver #16 gave to his valet made waves, leading to mixed reactions from the online community.
Today’s news is a bit more light-hearted. In the video, which you can view through the link at the end of the article, Charles Leclerc can be seen inadvertently rear-ending a car in front of him while maneuvering. The Monegasque doesn’t even seem to realize it, as the impact is minor, and he is conversing with his passenger sitting next to him.
The video, initially posted on TikTok and later on other social media platforms (including Instagram), quickly went viral within a few hours. Many have commented with jokes and some laughter.
Charles Leclerc is coming off a surprising win at Monza, where Ferrari secured a first and fourth place (with Carlos Sainz). Formula 1 will return to Azerbaijan for the last European race after a week off, before heading across the Atlantic. Unlike previous years, Baku has been scheduled for September due to reasons we’ve already explained in this article.
