Oscar Piastri therefore takes his first F1 victory. Lando Norris, for his part, gains points on Max Verstappen and closes in on the world standings. The Dutchman only finished fifth, after a nervous race, marred by contact with Lewis Hamilton.

McLaren takes home the full haul and surpasses Ferrari in the constructors’ standings. Red Bull is getting closer and the dream of the title is no longer so impossible.
