Ferrari team principal Frédéric Vasseur, prompted by journalists’ questions, shared his opinion on the controversial situation McLaren provided in the final stages of the Hungarian Grand Prix: “First of all, in their position, I would have enjoyed the one-two finish, but it’s a nice problem to have. I understand that during the race there was an undercut by Lando Norris on Oscar Piastri, a team decision to protect Lando from the returning rivals, but it was still harsh on Oscar. Then they made a decision that I can understand.
