OFFICIAL: Ferrari Driver Academy member Dino Beganovic to debut in Formula 2. Ferarri junior Dino Beganovic is now ready to step up to Formula 1.

Just minutes ago, it was announced that the young Swedish driver in the Ferrari Driver Academy, Dino Beganovic, after completing two seasons in Formula 3 with Prema, is now ready to step up to the next category.

In fact, in just a few weeks, we will see him behind the wheel of one of the two cars of the French team DAMS. Formula 2 will restart its engines in Qatar before ending the season in Abu Dhabi, and Dino Beganovic will participate in both events, replacing Juan Manuel Correa. This will allow him to get acclimated with the new car right away and be prepared for the 2025 championship, which he is set to contest with the French team.

Dino Beganovic, speaking about this opportunity, stated: “I can’t wait to make my Formula 2 debut with DAMS Lucas Oil, which has a rich history and a strong drive for great results. This feels like the most natural next step in my career, and I’m ready for the challenge in an extremely competitive championship. My goal for these two races is to learn as much as possible and score points in my first experience with an F2 in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.” – the Ferrari junior explained.

Charles Pic, the team owner, added: “We are excited to bring on talent like Dino for the rest of the season. It’s a step up from Formula 3 and a very competitive championship, but we’re confident that, with the team’s support, Dino can be competitive in these last two rounds. He has an excellent racing record, and we believe he has what it takes to compete and score points. I’d also like to thank JM for his commitment this season; it has been a pleasure working with him, and we wish him all the best for the future.”
