TV Guide to ease the wait for 2024 Formula 1 season

The first month without the roaring engines of Formula 1 has already passed, but we still have to wait a bit longer before the curtain rises on the new season. Dakar Rally
From January 5, the Dakar 2024 kicks off in Saudi Arabia. Covering 4,700 km of timed special stages in 12 legs, the spotlight will, as always, be on the sand. Until January 19, 137 motorcycles, 153 cars, 46 trucks, 10 quads, and 80 vehicles will battle it out across the entire Arabian Peninsula.

Daytona
Daytona will host two major events before the start of the Formula 1 championship. The first is the Daytona 24 Hours, where various motorsport stars and former F1 drivers will compete. The event is scheduled for January 27. Then, on February 19, NASCAR will make a stop for the Daytona 500.

Ferrari and Rush: New Release and Classic Face-off
Not only can motorsport enthusiasts enjoy real track action, but they can also delve into the past and relish films and TV shows recounting great events and rivalries that shaped the history of this sport. As a recent release, it’s certainly intriguing to watch the film dedicated to Il Drake, Ferrari, which hit theaters in December.

Alternatively, immerse yourself in the timeless classic Rush, an award-winning film that narrates the historic rivalry between Niki Lauda and James Hunt and Lauda’s life-altering crash at the Nürburgring.

Brawn’s Feat While Awaiting Drive to Survive Season 6
Another recent release is the TV series Brawn: An Impossible F1 Story. Starring Keanu Reeves, the series recounts Jenson Button’s 2009 World Championship win. After Honda’s withdrawal, the Brawn team seemed destined for failure that season but achieved the historic feat of winning both the drivers’ and constructors’ championships.
