F1 75 event: why Ferrari drivers skip media session in London. Ferrari will skip the media day for the F1 75 event in London.

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari F1 2025

All teams will be present at the F1 75 event in London, except for Ferrari. At least as far as the media session is concerned.

According to GPBlog.com, the Prancing Horse team will not take part in the press conference dedicated to the drivers, which is currently taking place just hours before the grand presentation show. The reason is quite simple.

These press conferences are not mandatory, meaning teams can decide whether or not to send their drivers to speak with the attending journalists. Ferrari has therefore chosen not to make any media statements this Tuesday but will do so tomorrow.

On Wednesday, February 19, the Prancing Horse will unveil the SF-25, which it will race with this season, and the international press will have the opportunity to participate. During the day, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will take to the track (in the morning and afternoon, respectively) for a first shakedown with the new car.

Ferrari deemed it rather unnecessary to schedule media sessions two days in a row, especially since journalists’ attention is entirely focused on the new driver lineup, particularly on the seven-time world champion.

The eighteen drivers remaining in London with their respective teams will continue media activities while waiting for tonight’s presentation event. Ferrari, with Leclerc and Hamilton, should (conditional is necessary) still be present at the grand show.

F1 75, created to celebrate 75 years of the premier class, will begin at 9:00 PM Italian time and will last approximately two hours. Each team will have around 8 minutes to introduce its car to the paying audience at The O2 arena in the heart of London.
