When asked if Scuderia Ferrari men Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are on par with the Dutch driver in terms of performance, Piero Ferrari replied: “Charles has the speed to be on par with Max Verstappen. But he has less experience in terms of Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc can improve, he will improve… Carlos Sainz is good, I believe he hasn’t yet fully expressed his potential, we are waiting for him.” – the Ferrari vice chairman concluded.
