The Ferrari 499P Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) #50 took to the track today at Fiorano for a test session. The car entered the top class of the FIA World Endurance Championship and will soon participate in the 6 Hours of Monza. I imagine that today is in preparation for the next competition. All of us still have in our eyes the splendid victory at Le Mans of the sister car, Number 51 and the fantastic parade of celebrations in Maranello last week. Managed by the AF Corse team, the car is built with a carbon fibre monocoque and uses the Ferrari Tipo F163 engine. It is a 3-litre twin-turbo 120° V6 + 272 Hp electric motor for a total of 500 KW, equivalent to 680 HP limited as per regulation. Furthermore, it adopts a 7-speed Xtrac sequential mechanical gearbox.
