The team principal of the Prancing Horse pays tribute to the third F1 event in the USA, aware of how important the United States is as a market for Ferrari. The Scuderia makes no proclamations for a weekend full of challenges on a completely new city circuit. The French manager relies on the good preparatory work done in Maranello with simulation systems to enable the drivers to learn the characteristics of the circuit, focusing solely on the track.
Scuderia Ferrari returns to Las Vegas over forty years after the last appearance at the Caesar Palace circuit. F1 has changed its skin and become a global spectacle, capable of attracting the attention of US fans, once resistant to the premier motorsport championship.
“We are happy that Formula 1 takes center stage in Las Vegas over 40 years since the last time. Our sport in the last decade has become increasingly popular in America, and the fact that this season we are racing for the third time in the United States is confirmation of this new golden age for Formula 1 across the ocean. The USA is a special land for Ferrari, where we always find a lot of affection, and that’s also why we have dedicated a special livery to this race.” – Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur said ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The city circuit in the capital of Nevada offers an unusual event with very high top speeds on city streets and very cold temperatures in the evening since the race will be held at night to have times compatible with the early morning in Europe.
“From a technical point of view, we have a completely new circuit with temperatures expected to be very low, different from any other race on the calendar. Therefore, doing well in our homework before the Grand Prix, both in meetings and at the simulator, will be crucial to maximizing the potential of drivers and the car.” – the French manager pointed out.
In short, Ferrari is confident that the Maranello team has done good preparation work in the simulator: “Simulation helps prepare for the many unknowns, and when it is effective, it allows gaining a competitive advantage because it frees the drivers to familiarize themselves with the track.”

The team principal of the Prancing Horse trusts in the adaptability of his drivers to tracks where it is necessary to graze the barriers: “Charles has always been very competitive on this type of circuit, where it is necessary to brush the walls, and Carlos showed in Singapore that he is no less. We are confident that we will have cards to play; we must do it by supporting our drivers and putting them in a position to fight for results that we know are within our reach.” – Fred Vasseur concluded.
