Christian Horner feels “if Ferrari had signed Adrian Newey, Max Verstappen would’ve gone with him”

Red Bull Team Principal, Christian Horner, stated that “Ferrari was stupid not to hire Adrian Newey,” especially because “Max Verstappen would have gone with him.”

The backstory
“Adrian was very close to leaving; he was about half an hour away from signing [with Ferrari, editor’s note],” the Brit revealed in a recent interview – “Ferrari went in hard with him, promised him the world. “The fact that Ferrari didn’t do it is actually more stupid, I believe, than how Adrian is making everyone else look right now in terms of stupidity, if you will,” Christian Horner criticized.
