For this reason, Italian journalist and motorsport expert Giorgio Terruzzi wanted to dedicate an article to the Polish driver. “I’ll say it straight away: I have a soft spot for Robert, an extraordinary talent, a guy with fierce determination, a stubborn guy, a feigned grump, a person I have always felt connected to. His recovery was faced using an extra-strong character but also a deep bitterness because Robert Kubica, not only in my opinion, would have had many chances to do huge things in the most prestigious and coveted championship. He knows it very well, and this is the reason that casts a deep shadow on his actions.” – the Italian journalist pointed out.

But this engagement, with the first test at Imola full of good vibes and high expectations, seems to me a precious compensation for a 38-year-old former Polish youngster who never gave up despite the signs and impairments that the accident left him. He is marked in body and soul, not in the spirit of the fighter, the intelligence in observing and understanding what is inside and around a car. Finding Kubica on the track and in competition in another championship, inside a Ferrari, is excellent news. For him, for those who love racing, for the fans of the Prancing Horse.
