Completely agree on that…. Further more they said clearly Ferrari was going after the title. If you want to fight fight for the title you should have a solid base from the very beginning of the year…. Everybody will shift their efforts soon to 2026 car, for obvious reasons. So if you don’t have a solid base from the very beginning then everything else is pure fiction. Even if Ferrari has a competitive car in China I doubt it will be able to fight with Maclaren. Ferrari is far far away from RedBull and Mercedes and Maclaren even more. I imagine they can be the best of the rest behind Maclaren but that’s it. Now if it is true that they have to increase the ride heigth in some GP you can forget it. No way we are able to fight for championship. Ferrari is paying from their arrogance letting get away with Newey. We didn’t need an old driver like Hamilton, we needed ANewey, but elkann/vigna and their friends only think about marketing. They spend money on things Ferrari don’t need…. If they wanted a good driver at least they could have hired Verstappen, now that is still young and make a difference.

I commented on that post back in February “lets hope we dont end up in the same situation. ”
Here we are in March, and we are in the exact same situation visible even during the Bahrain tests!
Scuderia ferrari has a very weak technical and leadership team incapable of understanding this generation of aerodynamic concept. They concentrate only on Branding and Marketing by bringing F1 champions in their last year’s and other popular names into the team, in hopes of drawing attention.
