Ferrari: Martin Brundle shares his one bold prediction for Lewis Hamilton amid F1 race wins in 2025. Martin Brundle shares his bold prediction about Lewis Hamilton’s future with Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari SF-25, suspension

Lewis Hamilton has been diligently ticking off items on his pre-season checklist as he transitions to Ferrari. In January, the seven-time world champion officially began his work at Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters, kicking off his testing programme with the team under the TPC initiative.

His first official appearance in Ferrari red came just last month at the F1 75 launch event in London, where he predictably received an overwhelming response from the crowd, earning the loudest cheers of the evening. Following the event, Hamilton traveled to Bahrain to participate in three days of intensive pre-season testing, laying the groundwork for his new chapter with the Scuderia. Earlier this week, the Tifosi were able to send their best wishes to both Hamilton and teammate Charles Leclerc ahead of the new season. The duo completed a thrilling demonstration run through the streets of Milan before making an appearance on stage, exciting the fans in attendance.

With the season-opening Australian Grand Prix fast approaching, the Formula 1 world is bracing for the first real glimpse of the teams’ true pace. In less than a week, the grid will assemble in Melbourne, and the early pre-season theories about team performance will either be debunked or confirmed.

Looking back, notable drivers like Fernando Alonso marked their Ferrari debut with a win in 2010, while Sebastian Vettel clinched victory at his second race for the team in 2015. Although a similar scenario in 2025 seems unlikely, especially with pundit Ted Kravitz predicting a McLaren one-two finish, the possibility remains open. It’s been a decade since Hamilton’s last win at the Australian Grand Prix with Mercedes, and fans are eager to see if he can break his winless streak at Albert Park.

Martin Brundle’s Prediction: Hamilton Set for Multiple Wins with Ferrari
As the season begins, Sky Sports asked their expert F1 pundits to share bold predictions for the 2025 season, with each one offering a daring forecast. Martin Brundle, former Formula 1 driver and current pundit, has placed his bet on Hamilton, predicting that the British driver will secure at least two race victories in his inaugural season with Ferrari. On the surface, this may not appear to be an especially bold forecast given Hamilton’s long history of race wins—he has taken multiple victories in 15 of his 18 F1 seasons. Last year, his predecessor Carlos Sainz also celebrated two wins for Ferrari, further fueling expectations for Hamilton in the team’s 2025 campaign.

However, there’s an added layer of challenge this season. Lewis Hamilton’s switch from Mercedes to Ferrari marks a major transition, and he will now be working with an entirely new team environment. As the driver with the most career wins with a single team (Mercedes), Lewis Hamilton faces the challenge of adapting to Ferrari’s technical approach, which could influence the number of victories he manages to secure in the season ahead. With the competition expected to be fierce and the field incredibly close, the Briton might find himself contending for only a handful of wins this season, despite his immense talent and experience. The question remains whether he can add to his already illustrious career tally while adapting to the Scuderia’s unique challenges.

Martin Brundle shared his bold prediction for the upcoming championship, stating that he believes Lewis Hamilton will win more than one race with the Italian side.

Max Verstappen‘s recent comments suggest that Martin Brundle’s bold prediction about Lewis Hamilton’s success with Ferrari in 2025 might not align with the current reality. Following the pre-season testing, there has been considerable ‘paddock chatter’ regarding Ferrari’s car, with many suggesting that it is the fourth-fastest on the grid, although some estimates place them in second position.

It’s important to keep in mind, however, that last season Mercedes, where Hamilton spent the previous years, was considered the fourth-fastest team, yet Hamilton still managed to secure two race victories. If Hamilton manages to achieve his first win as a Ferrari driver this season, it will undoubtedly be a historic and unforgettable moment for both him and the team. Despite these predictions, there is a widespread belief that McLaren has the fastest car heading into the Australian Grand Prix. However, questions remain about the extent of their advantage and how long it will persist throughout the season.

Max Verstappen, currently the dominant force in Formula 1, has weighed in on the situation, stating that McLaren is currently the only team with a realistic chance of contending for the title, given their current form. While he acknowledges that the competitive landscape could shift over the course of the 2025 season, a strong and consistent performance from McLaren could prevent Hamilton from meeting The Sky Sport pundit’s optimistic prediction of multiple race victories with Ferrari. As the season progresses, it will become clear whether Ferrari can close the gap or if McLaren’s early dominance will set the tone for the rest of the year.
