Or that Elkann expects Hamilton to design a modern-day W11? I can’t decide which one is worse. Either way it shows that the current Ferrari leadership is completely detached from reality, letting Newey go to Aston Martin will come back to haunt them in the future. Instead they decide to go after Mike Elliott, whose departure opened the way for Mercedes to be competitive again (and faster than Ferrari, for that matter). Sounds more like a comedy show than an F1 team trying to win titles.
